Steve has scored three cues for a PBS documentary titled, The Telephone Warriors, a Red-Horse Native Productions project. Renowned filmmaker, director and business woman Valerie Red-Horse is at the helm of this project!! This documentary will air in 2010.... more details to come...... check back!
Steve's score for "HONEY" directed by Suzanne Guacci and produced by Aspire Productions is nearly completed! Steve has been saying, "This is the most difficult score to date...but I love it!!". This comedy film has no dialogue and is filled with quirky music... tuba, accordian, recorder, string bass etc. Stephen is also the sound effects editor on this film.
Steve has completed the scoring of McKeon Studios' documentary film, Fire Island, Another Day in Paradise. This film is on DVD and is being shopped around. There's talk of the Travel Channel for this project!
Steve has completed scoring the short titled, The Plan Doctor, a Garmin Productions project directed by Ben Fiore. Steve reported, "Possibly the most "out there" score I've written!". Steve used his newly licensed library of John Cage Prepared Piano samples from Big Fish Audio and he incorporated some 20th century 12 Tone Rows in this exciting and tense score. The Plan Doctor is an official selection for the Long Island International Film Festival. This film has screened on July 8 in the 9:30 time block.
